Have you seen this documentary? If not, you must see it. Put it on your Netflix or find a way to get your hands on it pronto. Here's what it says on my Netflix envelope: Hailed "the hottest gathering in the world" by Wired Magazine, TED (Technology Entertainment Design) is an annual event where an eclectic group of brilliant minds exchange bold ideas for the future." There are more than 40 guests each year and each speaks for only 18 minutes so they have just a short time to get big ideas across ... and they do. Some of the ones featured in this are Al Gore, Peter Gabriel, environmentalist Majora Carter as well as comedians, authors, musicians and innovators from around the world. It is so inspiring!!!

Each speaker is also asked to create a "wish" that all the other attendees can help manifest. You will be blown away by what these folks are manifesting in the world!!! After the documentary ends, they update many of these projects. The world is getting better every day, in every way...

Here is a link to watch a preview of this great documentary: www.netflix.com/Movie/The_...ED/70067274

Peace and love and technological epiphanies,

  • I am still watching this and it is so amazing and inspiring. After the documentary, they have three of the 18 minute speeches featured at this conference. Holy cow!!! There are amazing and passionate and empowered and brilliant doors. I am learning so much. Cor there is a woman on here (Amy Smith, low-tech designer) who is doing amazing things in Haiti and India and Uganda that you must see.

It is incredible to see what these people are doing and it really fills me with hope and bolsters my own optimism about where the future is headed. This whole conference is a networking of Action Heros. Wow.
