One of the most recent actions I did was to walk several times around a very big free street fair giving free hugs out to many many people who were much moved by this idea. I think it made a difference to the overall vibe of alienated people experiencing the spectacle of it all. But it was overwhelming to get so many hugs. i was exhausted by the end of the night!

Mark... I'm using Facebook for networking now, since that is what most people around me use.

I like tribe, and don't want to lose contact with the amazing people here, but it is challenging to work both.

This is me: http://www.new.facebook.com/profile.php?id=906200533

Action Hero Group on Facebook: http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2266028687

The best way to stay connected is through the Action Hero Google group: http://groups.google.com/group/Action-Hero-Network (anyone can post to this email list, but not many do.)

currently I am developing two projects...

Stitch Uganda Together: http://stitchugandatogether.blogspot.com

We just got $30,000 of webbing donated and I've bought a few sewing machines, one commercial grade, so I am busy sewing hammocks. I brought back $4000 worth of beads from Uganda and have sent back $3000 to the artists already, but it seems that the directors may have taken $2000 of it. All of it was meant to go to the ladies who made the beads. The center may have been shut down due to this. We'll see... I have yet to get straight answers.

I plan to return to Uganda in the spring again, and plan to bring friends to work on the Temple of Lost & Found on the slopes of Mt. Elgon. It will be a bamboo dome, veggie/fruit garden, and play ground for orphans and activists.

This winter we are back in Roblito hosting a gathering the last two weeks of January. It is $500 all inclusive, and some action heroes will get money back by vote-- those who contribute the most. The first two weeks of February is the Mazatlan Awareness Festival-- a week in and around the city, trade show, lectures, art projects, movies, networking, parade, etc.... then a week of green building projects and community organizing.

To answer your question.... both. Glad you are still checking in.

I am copying all my journals and photos posted here on tribe, and saving them other places, as it may not last much longer. It went down last week, which was a wake-up call.
