juan has done over nine months worth
of relief work on the gulf coast.
he worked at the emergency communities relief kitchens in waveland, ms,
and in arabi, buras, la., and with common ground collective in new orleans, la.
he worked in the relief kitchens and did some house gutting and construction.
he made a radio documentary about waveland right after katrina for
WORT radio in madison.
he has also worked with food not bombs, student labor action coalition
(anti-sweatshop and local labor issues, social justice) and local peace groups.
he is also a musician and artist and was in the madison band, the rose.
